About Samantha Shaner

Feeling anxious, sad, or stuck? Struggling with nightmares, flashbacks, anxiety attacks, low mood, or constant worry can make everyday life feel overwhelming. You might be grieving a loss, facing big life changes, or carrying the weight of past trauma. I work with children, teens, young adults, and adults to create a safe and supportive space to explore these challenges. Together, we’ll identify what’s holding you back, develop tools to cope, and work toward healing. You don’t have to face these feelings alone. I believe that healing happens through connection, and I’m here to walk alongside you—meeting you where you’re at.

My specialties involve helping survivors of trauma, PTSD, sexual abuse, and domestic violence find safety, healing, and empowerment. With an extensive background in trauma-focused care, I draw from evidenced-based approaches including EMDR and ACT. These tools allow us to not only process difficult experiences but to also rebuild empowerment and safety.

My approach to therapy is warm, compassionate, and personable. Someone who listens without judgement, who's not afraid to laugh with you when humor fits, and who walks beside you through the hard moments with empathy and authenticity. Together, we'll work to move you beyond surviving. We'll reconnect your strength, voice, and sense of empowerment.
